Chan is currently a doctoral candidate in the Department of Geography at York University, Toronto. They are a professionally trained visual artist and architect. Crucially transdisciplinary, their art/research work invests in drawing spatial stories of everyday cis heteronormativity in transient homes, with particular attention to student housing in urban India. They talked about these subjects during the weekend takeover.
