In an ever-changing demographic, migration has always been observed from a top-down lens. But do only the marginalised migrate? What happens after migration? Can we examine and question the privilege of choice of going and coming back? Do all those who leave come back? Why not?
This exhibition, In Transit, is an attempt to question, identify and examine the choice of moving homes and bases; and the larger, looming, concerns of Citizenship and Belonging in a postmodern India.
